My Goals for the Extra Money Blog are Your Goals Too

I have some clear cut goals for this blog.  It’s existence is certainly not critically needed with what I have got going on, and I don’t expect it to make me a killing either. This is however the best way I can make a wider-spread impact and contribute back to the field that has given me all kinds of success over the years.

A blog is no more than an online journal, and the best part is that it is much easier for me to babble my thoughts here as they cross my mind.  With a website, things are a tad bit different.  A blog also allows you to subscribe to my RSS feed so that each time I post something, you are notified of it.  I am subscribed to 7 blogs which I regularly follow. RSS ensures I never miss a beat.

So back to my goals.  With this blog my main goal is to share with you opportunities to make extra money online in your spare time, developing systems and creating streams of passive, residual income.  These streams are what will allow you to sleep better, secure a better future for you and your family, provide freedom and flexibility in life if you choose to, and most importantly give you options in life.

While the Internet is full of scams, you can rely on me as your personal screener.  I only talk about and recommend products and services that I have personally tried and tested.  And when I have not, I will be very explicit and I promise that you will know about it.

I hope to:

  • Spread awareness on relevant subject matters
  • Encourage & inspire you
  • Share my experiences with you
  • Allow us as a community to share and learn from each other
  • Show you payment proof (seeing is believing)

Whether you are just trying to make ends meet, work part time, or develop a full time stream of income, you will find this blog and my website very helpful.  If you have a corporate career and are looking for something profitable to do on the side, then you will be the best served by this blog.  You are exactly in my place, and I can relate to you best.

Why?  Because doing something on the side is what I believe in, have done and often preach.  I am a big believer in developing a buffer or a safety net per se so that you can experiment with your passion without having to worry about bringing food to the table.  If you do what you love doing, success will follow. It is only inevitable.

The Theme of the Money Blog

The title of my website is Easy Extra Money Online, which means that the general theme of what I introduce and discuss has to be easy, something you can do in your spare time, makes you money and is online.  99.9% of what you will see on the website DOES NOT REQUIRE PAYMENT OR INVESTMENT on your part other than your time and diligence.

You will also find hundreds of work from home opportunities that are legitimate and have been screened by me personally.  It is ideal for anyone looking for extra income, whether to make ends meet or improve finances.

This blog on the other hand is for those that are already working and have steady finances, but may want more out of life.  I will be discussing ways to establish additional streams of passive, residual income that you can establish in just your spare time.  As they mature, these streams will give you more financial stability and options down the road in life.

I also plan on discussing general financial awareness and the softer skills needed to live a more financially responsibly life so that you can come out on the winning end.  In simple English, I will be discussing how to get ahead of the game.

With this information you can begin to pursue your true passion like I did, and free yourself from legalized slavery if that is what you want.  I will show you how you can monetize (make money) from your passion and diversify your investments for a better, brighter and a more stable financial future, all in your spare time without having to leave your career.  I am sure you have already heard that finances are the #1 cause of problems in most relationships, such as divorces, separations, etc.

Broad But It All Ties Up Nicely

Does it sound like I want to do everything and that I am all over the place?  Hang tight; this will help bring it together.  A lot of what I have done in my own life all fits in together very well, and I will show you how that works.

While you will hear many say that you must establish a single niche and narrow cast (and not broadcast), I have become very successful doing just the opposite.  You can be very successful with the shot gun approach, but you must limit the times you fire.  In other words, targeted and focused niches have worked for me very well, but I have approached those projects in parallel with a few others.

Have a look at my Sue the Airline website or my website on Dubai City Information.  These are targeted, niche websites that are very profitable.  But I was also working on some other projects while working on these websites.  The ability to juggle comes with time, and obviously varies with your personal situation.

I took up a much broader work load before I got married.  I am sure I will have a much less load when I have kids.  It just depends.  While there is no one size fits all solution, there is indeed a solution for everyone – I can guarantee you that.  And while this blog may appear to be very broad to you in scope, it’s really not.  You can pick and choose the path that best suits you.  I will summarize how it all ties in together nicely.

I started my Easy Extra Money Online website with paid surveys.  I heavily experimented initially making money at home on the internet with paid surveys.  So naturally, paid online surveys are the first tier of coverage of my website.

I then explored other ways to make money from home like getting paid to try products, write articles, play games and write reviews.  As I continued to do well and separate the good ones from the scams, I started writing about ways to make extra money that are non survey related.  So these ways to make extra money became the second large tier of my website.

I experienced an exponential growth in financial success when I started my website and discussing my experiences.  When my readers realized this, they demanded information on how I was able to do this.  In response to the demand, I started to write about how one can go from making just $300-500 a month to $2,000-10,000 and even more per month with a website.  So, how to make your website and exponentially multiply your earnings with paid surveys and the many other ways to make extra money from home became the third major tier of the website.

And finally this blog.  I decided to launch this blog to discuss the broader, overall theme behind not only the Easy Extra Money Online website’s evolution, and not only the rest of my online portfolio, but entrepreneurship in general.  In fact, a very specific kind of entrepreneurship that allows you create multiple streams of passive, residual income in your spare time without having to leave a successful career.

That is exactly the underlying theme in all that I do, whether online or offline.  What better way to positively impact others by sharing my personal experiences, successes and failures?  I am essentially showing you how to duplicate the systems I have implemented and attain your goals and objectives.  See how it all ties together now?

Generally, you will see my posts fit in one of the following broad categories:

  • Paid Surveys (making money by completing paid online surveys and offers)
  • Ways to Make Extra Money (non survey get paid to opportunities you can do from home)
  • Personal Finance (debt, saving, investing, arbitrage, etc)
  • Niche Websites / Blogging (including search engine optimization, etc)
  • Internet Marketing (promoting your website and getting traffic)
  • Entrepreneurship (general discussion on finances, business, taxes, working from home, etc)

I will occasionally throw in posts about basic finances/taxes and other entrepreneurship type discussions that you might find interesting and that will help you as you progress in your career with making money on the side, preserving the money, growing it and setting yourself up for a brighter financial future.

A hard-working and successful individual with a 9 to 5 who wants a better and more stable financial future, freedom, flexibility and options in life!

Remember, it is ALWAYS good to have something going on the side at all times.  It is just a good safety blanket.  With globalization, cost cutting and volatile corporate professions and the overall job market in general, the economic outlook is weak and anything can happen at any time.

So why not take charge of your own destiny?  Take control of your position now and your future.  Don’t let things come to you.  Go after them, grab them hard and twist and turn them the way you want to.  It is like having that safety net underneath you while you try back flipping for the first time.  Wouldn’t you just be more comfortable?  What are your thoughts?
